PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Open Water Course

With a number of us at the Vet’s Shed having recently experienced a ‘try dive’ with the

North Wales Sub Aqua Club, Mick Galston is now in the process of organising a trip to Malta at the beginning of October where you will have the chance to go for the PADI open water course.
There are two options which are as follows.

One is to complete all the theory online at home prior to arrival, so the course will take 3 days in Malta, which allows more time for diving when you get certified.

The 2nd option takes 4 days and the theory will be completed in the classroom in Malta with a manual.

All of those wishing to take the course in sunny Malta will be bound by a majority vote (the first option is the one recommended so you get more time diving). This option requires everyone to have their own individual email address where the organisers would send the downloadable link to get going on the theory. Have a look at this link:

Prices offered for October are:

7 nights at the 4* Pergola Spa Hotel (sharing a twin/double room)
Breakfast
3 Day PADI (e-learning) course
Includes the PADI Open Water Touch package, Certification, Equipment, transport to and from the dive sites.

€662 per person. (Based on 2 people sharing a twin/double room).
€767 For single occupancy.

OR

7 nights at the 4* Pergola Spa Hotel (sharing a twin/double room)
Breakfast
4 Day PADI Open water course (classic classroom)
Includes the PADI Open Water manual, Certification, Equipment, transport to and from the dive sites.

€692 per person. (Based on 2 people sharing a twin/double room).
€797 For single occupancy

There will also be a requirement to complete a medical questionnaire. Anyone who answers YES to a question will need to get approval to dive.
